This past April, as we visited Stratford-upon-Avon the second time around, I took this picture of the precious window panes which used to be in William Shakespeare’s birthroom autographed by famous people like Sir Walter Scott and John Keats using diamond rings to etch their names on the glass. Parts of the glass panes  are broken but repaired and these original glass panes are still on display.

Our sea wall was crumbling and broken in some areas, and last fall I helped cleaned out the planters along the wall in preparation for the city to repair it. It was a neighborhood endeavor.

My oldest water fountain’s water reservoir had a crack and was finally broken, so I found a replacement basin for it and now it is as good  as new!
