Weekly Photo Challenge: Enveloped

I have a lot of pictures last Winter capturing scenes as snow enveloped our surroundings creating an all white-out condition for weeks, reaching a point when we don’t know where else to put it.

My son and his fellow scout members learned how to survive life below zero degrees as snow slowly cooperated and enveloped everything giving them a more realistic experience in these pictures.

After the harsh Winter, Spring has sprung and we welcomed all blooming things including my lovely Cherry tree blooming its head off and enveloping the ground with its pink confetti-like flower petals. Lovely!

The yellow rapeseed flowers enveloped the countryside in England in the Springtime. I took this picture when we visited the Cotswolds once again this April.

  1. Those boys certainly look like they are having lots of fun in the snow. Play time for them when it snows! Hope they enjoyed making snowmans and jumping around in the white fluffy snow 🙂 Love the before-after photos of your backyard. That really is a lot of snow indeed…you could easily lose your way in all that snow 😀

    1. Yes, the boys really love the snow, especially when school gets cancelled! It was a harsh Winter indeed, but look what Spring brought us. Love the four seasons in New England! Thanks for the visit to my blog!

      1. And I’m sure you will enjoy spring. Colourful flowers coming your way. Enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the warmth. Love the photos 🙂

  2. OMG! Thanks for posting the enveloped in snow and enveloped in sun photos. Being in the drought state of California, I only know the beach and sun. 💖

    1. My pleasure! Come visit the East Coast sometime, experience the four seasons… and we also have wonderful beaches although Atlantic Ocean is not as warm as the Pacific…the East Coast has its own charm. Thanks for the visit to my blog.
